Who needs to have workers compensation insurance?

If your business meets the below criteria, you need workers comp insurance.

If you are an employer or business owner in NSW, you must have workers compensation insurance if you:

• Employ workers on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.
• Expect to pay more than $7500 in wages and benefits in the next financial year
• Employee trainees or apprentices; and/or
• Are a member of a group for premium purposes.
