The [JobCover Placement Program (JCPP)](https://www.sira.nsw.gov.au/resources-library/workers-compensation-resources/publications/help-with-getting-people-back-to-work/jobcover-placement-program-guidelines) is designed to encourage employers to offer ongoing paid employment to injured workers who are still recovering, but cannot return to work with their pre-injury employer. The program gives employers financial incentives that offset the cost of engaging an injured worker. The employer would also gain a highly motivated worker who can contribute productively to the company in the process. The program offers wage subsidies for up to 12 months to help offset the cost of employing these workers, encouraging businesses to provide them with job opportunities.
