Here are some tips on how to ease the PES process for yourself and your candidates.
The process of arranging for pre-employment screening tends to be much smoother when the employer who made the booking is actively involved in it. Your participation helps streamline communication and ensures all necessary details are addressed in a timely manner.
1. Make upfront payment
Making upfront payment ensures your booking request is secured, especially for high demand assessments such as physical examination and bulk audiometry testing.
Once payment has been confirmed, our customer service team can proceed to book a qualified assessor for your selected date, time and location.
2. Coordinate logistics & disseminate information
For logistical reasons, certain tests require the employer's assistance and coordination (e.g. arranging candidate time slots).
Some of the employer's responsibilities also include:
- Ensuring all paperwork is organised, including distributing consent forms and providing details of the PES assessment to candidates.
- Confirming that candidates have received their booking confirmation.
- Reminding candidates to carefully review the confirmation email, complete any questionnaires (if applicable), and arrive on time for their appointment.
3. Confirm attendance
Sending out a reminder to your candidates the day before ensures accountability, minimises risk of Did Not Attend's (DNAs), and demonstrates that the screening is to be taken seriously.
4. Resolve any DNAs
A fee is levied on no-shows. Payment for this fee must be made before the report can be released.
