Here are some best practices for ensuring you turn up for your PES well-prepared.
Different PES assessments require different levels of preparation. Listed below are some tasks you may have to complete prior to your PES appointment.
1. Read the confirmation email
A confirmation email containing details of the booking (including date, time and location) will be sent prior to your PES assessment.
Read through it carefully and keep it somewhere easily retrievable, should you need to reference it on the day.
2. Complete the questionnaire
The confirmation email will contain a questionnaire. Do submit the questionnaire prior to your PES appointment, or let our customer service team know if you are facing difficulties completing it.
Your responses will assist your assessor's evaluation.
3. Acquaint yourself with the directions to the facility
The confirmation email will also contain directions to the testing facility, if the PES assessment is to be carried out off-site.
Make transport arrangements ahead of time, and be certain to allow yourself ample travel time.
4. Obtain medical clearance for medication
If you're on long-term medication, obtain a note from your prescribing GP beforehand stating what the medication is and certifying that it was prescribed for valid reasons.
This is to facilitate the processing of results, and to ensure that the report captures an accurate snapshot of the candidate's situation.
